‘DANCERS’ marks the fifth release by YAN WAGNER under the politically inspired, satirical pseudonym he first coined in 2014 – THE POPULISTS. It includes four cuts of ruggedly crafted, dark disco, electronica and leftfield dance. A return to Lumière Noire after his track ‘PREHISTORIC LEMURS’ was released on their VA ‘FROM ABOVE VOL.2’ in 2020. Yan has most recently collaborated with GESAFFELSTEIN on his latest album ‘GAMMA’ as a vocalist and has scored the soundtrack for ‘ANIMALE’ a film that will be shown at the 63rd edition of Cannes Film Festival during the closing of ‘La Semaine de la Critique’.
